Chapter 4

Mother has started in with the new idea of starving me to the point where she can keep control over me in any way. I have gone for i don't know how long without dinner, and only some scraps at breakfast. I tired to start stealing food at school from the other kids and it only led to being caught which only made school life harder as well as increased beatings at home. But i needed food so kept trying, occasionally attempting to steal from the grocery store a ways from the school to no prevail, and soon from the school lunchroom taking any of the frozen meals i could get without being caught. This also for a short time had worked for me, until mother grew suspicious. She one night forced me to throw the food back p and as a punishment made me eat it.. From then on she would test me after school, and began putting rotten food in the trash knowing i would eat it and become sick.
